About The Position

The Storage Customer Service Representative works as part of a support team to provide customer service at a U-Haul storage facility. The role supports the site manager with facility operations, assists customers with storage rentals and equipment transactions using up-to-date technology, and helps maintain equipment and the property. On-the-job education and ongoing training through U-Haul University are provided.

Requirements

Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Excellent communication skills.
Available to work on weekends and holidays.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Support the site manager with facility operations.
Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
Show storage units, explain rental agreement terms, and prepare rental contracts.
Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
Ensure vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure, and available for new customers.
Assist customers with dispatching and returning equipment using up-to-date technology.
Inspect and maintain equipment.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
