About The Position

The Storage Customer Service Representative works as part of a support team and serves as a customer-facing representative of U-Haul. The role helps customers with their storage needs and equipment journeys, including inspecting and maintaining equipment and using current technology to dispatch and return equipment. On-the-job education is provided, with opportunities to continue learning through U-Haul University. The position supports facility operations, assists active and prospective customers by phone and in person, rents storage units, and helps keep the property and units ready for customers. The listed location is 3307 US Hwy 17-92 W, Haines City, Florida 33844. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Requirements

Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Excellent communication skills.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Support the site manager with facility operations.
Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
Show storage units, explain rental agreement terms, and prepare rental contracts.
Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
Ensure vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure, and available for new customers.
Inspect and maintain equipment and assist customers with dispatching and returning equipment using current technology.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
