About The Position

The Storage Customer Service Representative works as part of a support team to provide customer service at a U-Haul storage facility. The role supports facility operations, assists customers with storage rentals, and helps inspect and maintain equipment. It also involves using current technology to dispatch and return equipment. On-the-job education and ongoing training through U-Haul University are provided. The position is located at 3307 US Hwy 17-92 W, Haines City, Florida 33844. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. U-Haul states that it will not hire or re-hire nicotine users in Florida and other listed states.

Requirements

Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Excellent communication skills.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Support the site manager with facility operations.
Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
Show storage units, explain rental agreement terms, and prepare rental contracts.
Perform routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
Ensure vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure, and available for new customers.
Inspect and maintain equipment and assist customers with dispatching and returning equipment.
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
