About The Position

North Atlantic Industries (NAI) is seeking a Stockroom Clerk for a temporary position of up to 90 days, with the opportunity to become permanent. Under specific direction, the Stockroom Clerk receives, stocks, and issues material upon appropriate notification and assists in maintaining a perpetual inventory. NAI provides embedded electronic solutions for military, aerospace, and industrial markets and describes its culture as collaborative, with team-building events, company picnics, special event days, and an employee game room.

Requirements

High school graduate.
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) and provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status. Some positions may require U.S. citizenship due to sensitive customer contracts.
Ability to lift 40 pounds of stock of various sizes multiple times per day, from the floor or overhead, or while reaching over a barrier.
Communication skills sufficient to interface effectively with all contacts.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience handling electromechanical parts and materials.
Prior experience documenting and recording stock.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Computer skills in MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to learn new things.
Ability to take initiative and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Receive and place in stock material turned over from the receiving department, incoming inspection, and manufacturing area.
Enter data to record inventory transactions.
Disburse material upon presentation of properly executed stock requisitions or pick lists.
Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory of stock.
