About The Position

The Stockroom Clerk, under specific direction, receives, places in stock, and issues material upon appropriate notification. The role assists in maintaining a perpetual inventory of stock. This is a temporary position for up to 90 days, with an opportunity to become permanent. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and provide documentation verifying this status upon hire. Some positions involving sensitive customer contracts require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds of stock of various sizes multiple times per day, from the floor, overhead, or while reaching over a barrier.
• Communication skills for effective interaction with all contacts.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) and provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status. Some positions involving sensitive customer contracts require U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience handling electromechanical parts and materials.
• Prior experience documenting and recording stock.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Computer skills in MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, with curiosity and a desire to learn new things.
• Ability to take initiative and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and place in stock material turned over from the receiving department, incoming inspection, and manufacturing area.
• Perform data entry to record inventory transactions.
• Disburse material upon presentation of properly executed stock requisitions or pick lists.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory.
