AR Coordinator- Temp to Perm
About The Position
Berjé Inc. is seeking a highly driven, temporary-to-permanent Accounts Receivable team member to achieve targeted collections and diligently apply customer payments and other accounts receivable transactions. The role requires a professional, positive attitude when representing the Company to customers and collaborating with internal teams, including Customer Care and Sales. Berjé is a family-owned flavor and fragrance industry supplier operating across three generations. Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with diverse work groups, customers, and internal employees.
- Accuracy, accountability, organization, and structure.
- Positive interpersonal skills and clear verbal and written communication.

- Experience with NetSuite.
Responsibilities
- Promptly apply cash receipts to customer accounts and provide real-time insight into cash receipts.
- Bill sales orders daily and troubleshoot pending billing sales orders by status.
- Monitor domestic and foreign customer orders and release order holds after diagnostics.
- Create aging reports, monitor balances, and proactively strategize collections.
- Oversee automatic generation and distribution of invoices and statements to customers.
- Generate monthly accounts receivable summary reports and sales reporting to assist supervisors with month-end close.
- Generate credit memos for approval and troubleshoot open return authorizations.
- Update customer financial profile information and document customer issues as they occur.
- Manage the credit application process in collaboration with Customer Care and Sales Representatives.
