About The Position

The Stocker helps maintain merchandise availability and store presentation while supporting a positive shopping experience. Duties include answering customer questions and offering recommendations, operating an assigned cash register and managing sales transactions, protecting cash and company assets, stocking and recovering merchandise, receiving merchandise, helping unload trucks, and replenishing stock according to productivity standards. The role also involves maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment; interacting professionally and pleasantly with customers, associates, and leaders; and keeping the store clean and presentable, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and removing trash. Other duties may be assigned. This is a part-time position with Dollar Tree at 805 Main Avenue, De Pere, Wisconsin 54115.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and courteously with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
