About The Position

The Stock Clerk supports aircraft maintenance by performing stock-clerk duties. The work takes place in a combination of indoor and outdoor settings with changing climate conditions, moderate to high noise, and low to moderate risk of exposure to hazardous chemicals, vapors, or materials. The role requires physical, mental, and communication abilities, as well as accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility, organization, productivity in a fast-paced and diverse work environment, and safety consciousness.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Valid motor vehicle license.
Ability to balance, bend, stoop, crawl, climb, climb stairs, crouch, carry items up to 50 pounds, grasp, kneel, lift items 50 pounds or over, pull hand over hand, push, reach above shoulder, and perform repetitive motion.
Ability to sit an average of 3 hours per day, stand an average of 6 hours per day, and walk an average of 6 hours per day.
Ability to see and follow precise instructions, documents, diagrams, or blueprints; distinguish color differences; read information on a computer screen or other electronic device; detect distinct, specific noises; and hear and understand directions and normal conversation.
Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine factual information; organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology or data; and make decisions with moderate impact on the immediate work unit.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; follow basic instructions and guidelines; complete routine forms; use existing form letters; conduct routine oral communication; communicate by telephone; hear and speak effectively on the phone; and express or exchange ideas verbally.
Attention to detail and ability to proofread accurately.
Cooperative and flexible, with organizational skills and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced, diverse work environment while remaining safety conscious.
