Stock Clerk NSA - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Stock Clerk supports aircraft maintenance by performing stock clerk duties in a work environment that combines indoor and outdoor settings and may involve changing climate conditions. The role involves moderate to high noise levels and low to moderate risk of exposure to hazardous chemicals, vapors, or materials. This position is identified as 2nd shift. The employee must meet the physical, mental, communication, and professional requirements described in the posting, including handling items up to 50 pounds, interpreting visual information, following instructions, completing routine documents, and working independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Valid motor vehicle license
- Ability to stand and walk for an average of 6 hours per day and sit for approximately 3 hours per day
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift items over 50 pounds
- Ability to balance, bend, stoop, crawl, crouch, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, reach above the shoulder, use repetitive motions and hand-over-hand pulling, and grasp and push objects
- Adequate visual acuity to read documents, diagrams, blueprints, and screens; distinguish colors; and interpret visual information accurately
- Ability to detect and differentiate specific sounds and noises, hear and comprehend verbal instructions, and participate in normal conversation
- Ability to understand, retain, and communicate routine factual information; organize thoughts and relay information clearly using appropriate terminology or data; and make decisions with moderate impact on the immediate work area
- Ability to work independently or within a team setting
- Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills; ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions, complete routine forms and documents accurately, and communicate effectively in person and over the phone
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, flexibility, cooperation, organizational skills, and ability to maintain efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced, diverse environment
- Ability to adhere to safety procedures and remain safety-conscious
