About The Position

Nordstrom Rack team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and a quick, easy customer experience. Team members help keep the store clean and clutter-free and may occasionally work in different areas of the store to maintain salesfloor and stockroom cleanliness and assist customers. Roles are available across Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment; candidates can discuss their preferred role during the interview. Stock Support and Fulfillment responsibilities include receiving and unloading freight, unpacking and delivering new merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling customer orders, and preparing orders for shipment in accordance with quality standards. Team members use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research shipments, help maintain organized selling floors and stockrooms, and provide general store support such as setting up events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The role requires clear communication, accountability, initiative, organization, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and schedule flexibility based on business needs. It involves continuous movement and frequent lifting and handling of merchandise. The listed pay range is $16.20–$16.85 per hour; offers depend on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
For Stock and Fulfillment: Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived items to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
