About The Position

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, continuously moving and collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. You help provide a quick and easy customer experience while keeping the store clean and clutter-free. Flexibility is important, as you may work in different areas of the store to maintain cleanliness, support stockrooms, and help customers find merchandise. The role includes maintaining and replenishing the salesfloor, assisting customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, supporting fitting rooms, returning merchandise to the salesfloor, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring merchandise is checked in and ticketed accurately. You demonstrate expertise in store technologies, follow operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards, and promote initiatives such as Nordstrom Rewards. The position requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and hand use. Employees handle bulky or awkward items, including lifting items above the head, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. The hourly pay range is $15.85–$16.45, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Responsibilities

Work with the team to keep the salesfloor runway-ready, sized, and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with cashiering and transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, including operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items, handling bulky or heavy items, and providing a friendly experience.
Support fitting rooms by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
Keep the customer experience clean and clutter-free by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset-protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
