About The Position
As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you’ll work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. You’ll support a quick and easy customer experience and help keep the store clean and clutter-free. Flexibility is important, as you may occasionally work in different areas of the store to maintain cleanliness in the salesfloor and stockrooms and help customers find merchandise. Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment; candidates can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Stock Support and Fulfillment team members receive and unload freight, unpack and deliver merchandise to selling departments, fulfill and ship customer orders, and use inventory management systems to process and research shipments. They also help maintain clean, organized selling floors and stockrooms and provide general store support, including preparing special events, organizing the backroom, markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The position requires continuous movement during shifts and handling merchandise, including frequent lifting and carrying for Stock and Fulfillment. The hourly pay range is $17.70–$18.40, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The role is seasonal. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Requirements

- Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- For Stock and Fulfillment duties, frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while meeting quality standards.
- Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
- Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
- Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
- Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, processing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
- Work flexibly in different areas of the store as needed to support cleanliness and customer service.
