About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring team members for roles in Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment. Candidates may discuss their preferred role during the interview process. The position supports a quick, easy, and enjoyable customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment. Sales and Cashier responsibilities include assisting customers with fitting rooms and transactions, returning clothing to the sales floor, supporting Nordstrom Rewards initiatives, maintaining organized stockrooms and accurate inventory processes, keeping the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening, using store technologies, and resolving customer situations effectively. Stock Support and Fulfillment responsibilities include receiving and processing freight and merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders to quality standards, using inventory management systems to process and research shipments, maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support such as setting up events, organizing backrooms, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The role requires clear communication, accountability, initiative, organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and schedule flexibility based on business needs. Stock Support and Fulfillment roles require frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds. The hourly pay range is $15.60–$16.20, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Responsibilities

Create a smooth fitting-room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
Encourage adoption of initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is checked in and ticketed accurately.
Maintain a sale-ready sales floor by re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Resolve customer situations in a timely and effective manner.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and according to quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
