About The Position

This role is for a Seasonal & Regular Retail Sales or Stock Associate at Junction Commons Rack. As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you will be part of a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring a quick and easy customer experience, maintaining store cleanliness, and potentially working in different areas of the store. Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments.

Responsibilities

Ensure the salesfloor stays "runway ready" by re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with various transactions across different platforms (in-store, online, mobile) by operating a point-of-sale system, handling items of all sizes, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
Support as a fitting room attendant by greeting and assisting customers, and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
Sort and return clothing to the salesfloor to create a clean and clutter-free customer experience.
Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies.
Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments.
Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general support to the store, such as setting up special events, organizing the backroom, processing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
