About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring team members for Sales, Cashier, Stock, and/or Fulfillment roles at Crossroads at Eatontown Rack. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to make customers’ experiences quick, easy, and enjoyable while helping them find merchandise. Applicants can discuss their preferred role during the interview process. Sales and Cashier responsibilities include supporting fitting-room experiences, promoting initiatives such as Nordstrom Rewards, organizing stockrooms and completing inventory processes, keeping the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening, assisting customers with transactions, using store technologies, and resolving customer concerns. Stock Support and Fulfillment responsibilities include receiving and processing merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders to quality standards, using inventory management systems, maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support such as preparing events, completing markdowns, organizing backrooms, and relocating fixtures. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

Clear and effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for Stock Support or Fulfillment roles.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, guide them to fitting rooms, and sort and return clothing to the sales floor.
Encourage customers and colleagues to participate in initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Organize stockrooms and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is checked in and ticketed accurately.
Keep the sales floor ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
Assist customers with transactions in a seamless and friendly manner.
Demonstrate expertise in technologies used in the store environment.
Resolve customer situations promptly and effectively.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver new merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly while following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments according to inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
