About The Position

The Steward helps create memorable guest experiences by keeping kitchen and dining areas clean, organized, and ready for service. The role cleans chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, and pans; monitors supplies and equipment; and performs kitchen-cleaning tasks such as mopping and trash removal. The Steward also prepares clean serviceware for banquets and functions, helps train new stewards, and follows health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations. Responsibilities

Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including mopping and trash removal.
Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
Train and mentor new stewards.
Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
