About The Position

Utility Cleaners support vital hotel functions and may work across departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry, to meet cleaning needs. Duties can include preparing clean linen and dining ware, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, linen washers, and dryers, and transporting dishware or linens throughout the hotel.

The role requires maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and maintaining a professional uniform, appearance, and communication. Associates build positive working relationships, support team goals, listen and respond to coworkers’ concerns, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager. Other reasonable duties may be requested by supervisors.

Requirements

• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

• No high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
