About The Position

The Steward supports the Food & Beverage service team by staying active and helping maintain clean, sanitary restaurant operations. The role involves sorting and washing used dishes and utensils, returning clean items to storage, and cleaning general restaurant areas. The position requires substantial time on one’s feet and flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to think on one’s feet and keep up in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as walking, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to carry or lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Sort and wash dirty and used dishes and utensils.
• Return washed dishes and utensils to storage areas.
• Help keep the general restaurant area sanitary and clean, including sweeping and mopping floors and cleaning tables.
