About The Position
The House Attendant maintains clean and sanitary public areas and equipment, responds to guest requests, assists with meeting and event setups, and supports the housekeeping team. The role involves hands-on physical work, attention to detail, guest service, and maintaining safe and secure work areas. The position is at the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel, located outside the ABQ terminal, where staff support hotel amenities and a property that regularly hosts group travel and events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stay calm and work well under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required for driving roles.
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across hotel facilities and equipment, including lobbies, restrooms, carpets, and furniture.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and deliver requested items and services.
- Assist with setup of meeting rooms and events, ensuring details are in place.
- Safeguard sensitive areas and responsibly manage lost-and-found items.
- Follow safe work practices to prevent injuries and maintain a secure environment.
- Support the housekeeping team.
