About The Position

The Steward (also described as Utility Steward) helps keep kitchen and dining areas clean and ready for service, contributing to memorable guest experiences. The role cleans serviceware, maintains stock and equipment, performs kitchen cleaning, prepares clean serviceware for banquets and functions, and helps train new stewards. Team members are expected to follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a passion for hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, accountability, urgency, and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor supplies and equipment to ensure they are well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including mopping and removing trash.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
