About The Position

The Lead Steward supports kitchen and dining operations by maintaining clean serviceware, equipment, and work areas while helping ensure supplies are organized and available. The role prepares clean serviceware for banquets and other functions, trains and mentors fellow stewards, and maintains compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations. Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
