About The Position

Mazzone Hospitality is hiring full-time and part-time Stewards at Saratoga National Banquet in Saratoga Springs, New York. The Steward maintains kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following applicable safety and sanitation standards. No previous experience is required; training is provided. Days and hours may vary, and weekend and holiday availability is required. The pay range is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. An internal employee referral bonus is available.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors at appropriate intervals to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate large electric equipment, including dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other assigned food-preparation surfaces.
• Separate and remove trash and garbage to designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans in assigned areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food-preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas while following safe lifting standards.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup as requested.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
