About The Position

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) works under the direction of a Case Manager/DON and provides resident care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and nursing management direction. The STNA coordinates appropriate care with other licensed care staff and follows company nursing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. The role involves close, one-to-one work with patients, supported by a patient care team, and collaboration with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and STNA leadership.

Requirements

• State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in the state(s) of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation; must be willing to drive.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate daily with the patient care team.
• Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.
