About The Position

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) works under the direction of a Case Manager/DON and provides care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments and care plans, and as directed by nursing management. The STNA collaborates with licensed care staff to coordinate appropriate resident care and follows Company nursing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. The role involves working one-on-one with patients while receiving support from a patient care team, and working independently on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and STNA leadership.
• Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Willingness to drive, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in the state(s) of practice.
• CPR certification.
