About The Position

The Stand Lead works in the Food and Beverage department, managing employees and operations within a concessions stand. The role supports event paperwork and preparation, ensures food and beverages meet quality standards, and maintains compliance with health codes, fire regulations, and liquor laws. It also oversees point-of-sale equipment, inventory, cash handling, and safe, sanitary working conditions. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Work may take place inside or outside the facility, as required by events.

Requirements

One year of customer service experience.
At least two years of experience with concessions software.
Two years of food and beverage experience.
Attention to detail.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Good organizational skills.
Basic working knowledge of cash registers and cash-handling procedures.
Compliance with health codes.
Completion of Alcohol Compliance Training.
Ability to pass a credit check and meet corporate minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist in settling concessions event paperwork for each event.
Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations related to food preparation and service.
Ensure all POS systems in the stand are in proper working condition.
Review final products for accuracy before serving customers.
Ensure health codes and liquor laws are followed.
Maintain safe working conditions and a sanitary work area.
Follow accurate cash-handling procedures at all times.
Prepare food and beverages in the stand before events begin.
Count inventory in the stand and ensure inventory numbers are accurate.
Manage all employees within the stand.
Perform other duties as assigned.
