About The Position

The Concession Stand Lead is responsible for the complete operation of an assigned concession stand. The role trains personnel and supervises and directs the work activities of others. Leads report directly to the Concessions Supervisor of the assigned stand. SoFi Stadium Food and Beverage employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and union membership is a condition of employment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Prior experience as a stand attendant/worker or other food service worker is necessary.
Ability to interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards.
Ability to efficiently use a Point of Sale (POS) system in a non-cash venue and manage inventory.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Must be able to work fluently in English.
Ability to work in an open-air environment in all climate conditions.
Ability to lift and carry 10–30 pounds, and occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs or ramps.
Ability to work all venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Sufficient mobility to perform production tasks involving constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
Must have state and local health requirements for food handlers, ServSafe, and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certificates.
Must meet the physical demands described, including regularly sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands to finger and handle controls; frequently reaching with hands and arms; and standing, walking, and stooping. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
Union membership is a condition of employment under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate stand workers’ activities and assign duties.
Analyze and resolve problems with assistance from the Concessions Supervisor and/or other management.
Oversee and/or participate in stand setup and closing procedures.
Keep workstations, the back of the stand, and storerooms clean and sufficiently stocked; order replacement stock as necessary.
Complete required paperwork efficiently and accurately.
Investigate inventory discrepancies.
For each event, ensure the accuracy of the location bank, opening and closing inventory, product transfers, spoilage, and meals.
Randomly verify accurate transaction totals for all stand workers.
Maintain the concession location’s quality appearance.
At closing, work with stand personnel to clean equipment properly and organize stock for the next event.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
