About The Position

The Stand Lead oversees operations and employees within a concessions stand, preparing food and beverages before events and ensuring products are reviewed before serving. The role supports event paperwork settlement, maintains stand inventory and cash-handling accuracy, and ensures point-of-sale systems are working properly. The Stand Lead also maintains a safe, sanitary work area and follows applicable health, fire, and liquor regulations. Work may take place inside or outside the venue as required by events.

Requirements

One year of customer service experience.
At least two years of experience with concessions software.
Two years of food and beverage experience.
Attention to detail and good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, competing demands, delays, and unexpected events.
Good organizational skills.
Basic working knowledge of cash registers and cash-handling procedures.
Compliance with health codes.
Completion of Alcohol Compliance Training.
Must pass a credit check and meet corporate minimum requirements.
Ability to move around the facility and stand for long hours during events.
Ability to talk and hear while performing job duties.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds daily, for up to five minutes at a time.
Ability to reach, stand, walk, stoop, and perform repetitive eye-hand coordination tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist in settling concessions event paperwork for each event.
Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations for food preparation and service.
Ensure point-of-sale systems in the stand are in proper working condition.
Review final products for accuracy before serving customers.
Ensure health codes and liquor laws are followed.
Maintain safe working conditions and a sanitary work area.
Follow accurate cash-handling procedures at all times.
Prepare food and beverages in the stand before events begin.
Count stand inventory and ensure inventory numbers are accurate.
Manage employees assigned to the stand.
Perform other duties as assigned.
