About The Position

The human resources intern primarily supports training and skill development activities while assisting with the administrative operations of the HR team, all under the supervision of the studio's training advisor. This person participates in planning and coordinating training, tracking employee records, updating tools and processes, as well as various projects contributing to talent development and efficiency in HR practices. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic environment, collaborate with several HR specialists, and contribute to diverse projects that foster employee growth and organizational performance.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in a college or university program in human resources management, industrial relations, administration, or a related field.
  • Be available to complete an internship for credit (or as required by the educational institution).
  • Strong interest in talent development, training, and human resources.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Diligence, attention to detail, and ability to work with confidential information.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
  • Ease in collaborating with various stakeholders and working in a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HR systems (Workday, ADP) is an asset.
  • An interest in the video game and/or entertainment industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to training and skill development activities
  • Participate in the organization and coordination of training activities (planning, invitations, logistics, and material preparation).
  • Oversee mandatory training and keep training files and resources up to date.
  • Compile and analyze participation data and feedback to support the continuous improvement of programs.
  • Participate in the development of tools, processes, and learning projects (e.g., skill matrices, documentation, guides).
  • Conduct research on best practices in training and contribute to communications aiming to promote learning activities.
  • Support the administrative operations of the HR team
  • Update employee records and ensure the quality of HR data.
  • Provide administrative support for various HR records, particularly those related to employment contracts, immigration files, mandatory training, and certain compliance activities.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of HR practices
  • Collaborate on various HR projects and improve administrative processes.
  • Contribute to the updating of policies, procedures, and internal tools.
  • Provide support to the HR team based on current priorities and needs.
