About The Position

Xometry is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead product strategy for its Sales Technology and Operations team. Working with the VP of Sales Operations, commercial leaders, and Salesforce engineering teams, this role will rebuild core sales technology into a unified revenue and account management engine aligned with the company’s segmentation strategy and distinct customer journeys. The role aims to give each buyer profile and sales segment tools suited to how customers buy and representatives sell, reducing administrative work and enabling account executives to focus on revenue growth. The position will design an end-to-end sales technology stack that supports fast standard quoting, enterprise transactions for long-term production programs, and ongoing visibility into post-order fulfillment milestones. It will help define a two-year sales technology roadmap while delivering valuable quarterly capabilities. The work includes significant cross-functional collaboration with Buyer Experience (Website), Pricing, Post-Order, and Marketing. The product manager will take on open problem spaces and targeted metrics, build strategic consensus among executive stakeholders, and influence teams across organizational boundaries without direct authority. The position is based in Xometry’s Waltham, Massachusetts, or North Bethesda, Maryland, office and follows a hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of product management experience, including direct ownership of sales technology, revenue operations, CRM platforms, or B2B marketplace sales infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting B2B sales organizations with a defined segmentation model and translating segments into differentiated tooling, workflows, and data without over-standardizing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer journeys across multiple buyer profiles, including technical and non-technical buyers and transactional and program-based buyers.
  • Deep architectural expertise in Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, CPQ, complex opportunity models, object hierarchies, territory management, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Hands-on fluency with commercial technology stacks, including sales engagement platforms, conversation intelligence, marketing automation, cloud data warehouses, and reverse ETL tooling.
  • Pragmatic understanding of sales behavior and the ability to balance automation with flexibility for quota-carrying representatives.
  • Systems-thinking ability to manage technical dependencies across disparate databases, legacy ERPs, and modern cloud platforms.
  • Executive presence and demonstrated ability to align senior commercial and technical leaders around a cohesive strategy.
  • Ability to make high-stakes decisions under ambiguity and translate business targets into technical requirements and measurable milestones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on fluency with AI tools such as Claude and Cursor, and a proven track record of using them to accelerate product discovery, specification authoring, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Build first-hand understanding of customer journeys and buyer profiles within each segment through customer conversations and sales representative shadowing, and use those insights to prioritize product work.
  • Transform Salesforce into a revenue engine by modernizing CRM infrastructure for multi-stakeholder coverage models and automated hold synchronization across enterprise platforms.
  • Establish automated data pipelines to streamline reporting and incentive tracking.
  • Develop segment-specific tools and workflows to support how buyers evaluate, purchase, and reorder.
  • Orchestrate high-velocity demand through event-driven outreach that unifies conversation intelligence and marketing tools.
  • Build enterprise transaction infrastructure, including e-procurement punchout connectors and sustainment catalogs.
  • Deliver collaborative quote workbenches for sales teams handling complex recurring deals.
  • Stream real-time production and fulfillment milestones into sales workflows and configure automated exception alerts for potential delays.
  • Align and collaborate with cross-functional partners, translate leadership input into product requirements, and secure engineering commitments through influence.
  • Translate sales processes into structured specifications that intelligent systems can execute while preserving representative judgment where appropriate.
  • Establish a governance framework that routes tasks to appropriate AI models.
  • Define a two-year sales technology roadmap with commercial leaders while delivering quarterly capabilities.
