About The Position

Xometry is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead product strategy for Sales Technology and Operations within its Product Development team. The role will partner with Sales Operations, commercial leaders, and Salesforce engineering teams to rebuild core sales technology into a unified revenue and account management engine aligned with customer segmentation and distinct buyer journeys. The goal is to provide each segment and buyer profile with tools suited to how customers buy and sales representatives sell, reduce operational friction, and help account executives focus on revenue growth. The role will design an end-to-end sales technology stack that accelerates standard quotes, supports enterprise transactions and long-term production programs, and gives sales representatives visibility into post-order fulfillment milestones. It will help define a two-year sales technology roadmap while delivering quarterly capabilities. The work includes driving cross-functional capabilities across Buyer Experience, Pricing, Post-Order, and Marketing, turning open problem spaces and target metrics into a roadmap and executing it. Success requires navigating ambiguity, building strategic consensus with executive stakeholders, and influencing teams across organizational boundaries without direct authority. The position is based in the Waltham, Massachusetts, or North Bethesda, Maryland, office on a hybrid schedule of three days per week.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with direct ownership of sales technology, revenue operations, CRM platforms, or B2B marketplace sales infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting B2B sales organizations with a defined segmentation model and translating segments into differentiated tooling, workflows, and data without over-standardizing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer journeys across multiple buyer profiles, including technical and non-technical buyers and transactional and program-based buyers.
  • Deep architectural mastery of Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, CPQ, complex opportunity models, object hierarchies, territory management, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Hands-on fluency with modern commercial stacks, including sales engagement platforms, conversation intelligence, marketing automation, cloud data warehouses, and reverse ETL tooling.
  • Pragmatic understanding of sales behavior, including the needs of quota-carrying representatives and balancing automation with flexibility.
  • AI-native working style and hands-on fluency with tools such as Claude and Cursor, with a track record of using them to accelerate product discovery, specification authoring, and delivery.
  • Systems-thinking ability to manage technical dependencies across disparate databases, legacy ERPs, and modern cloud platforms.
  • Executive presence and influence, with success aligning senior commercial and technical leaders around a cohesive strategy.
  • Comfort making high-stakes decisions under ambiguity and translating business targets into concrete technical requirements and measurable milestones.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Map customer journeys within each customer segment and develop buyer profiles; validate them through customer conversations and sales representative shadowing, and use insights to guide prioritization.
  • Modernize CRM infrastructure to support multi-stakeholder coverage models and establish automated data pipelines for reporting and incentive tracking.
  • Support distinct sales motions across segments with appropriate tooling and workflows.
  • Coordinate event-driven outreach by integrating conversation intelligence and marketing tools.
  • Build enterprise transaction infrastructure, including e-procurement punchout connectors and sustainment catalogs.
  • Deliver collaborative quote workbenches for complex recurring deals.
  • Stream real-time production and fulfillment milestones into sales workflows and configure automated alerts for potential delays.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders, translate leadership input into product requirements, and secure engineering commitments through influence.
  • Translate sales processes into structured specifications for intelligent systems and establish a governance framework that routes tasks to appropriate models.
  • Define the two-year sales technology roadmap with sales leadership and deliver quarterly capabilities across relevant product areas.
