About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. The nurse provides direct patient care as the primary caregiver and works collaboratively with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making as well as decision-making in collaboration with others. The position is in the Adena Pike Emergency Department and reports directly to the Nurse Manager, with indirect supervision from the Director of Nursing. This is a full-time, 90% position with three 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and a holiday rotation. Hourly pay is based on years of nursing experience and education.
