About The Position

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. The nurse serves as the primary caregiver, provides direct patient care, and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and making decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The position is a Medical Surgical RN role at Adena Fayette in Washington Court House. It works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using nursing skills and processes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care.
• Provide direct patient care as the primary caregiver.
• Collaborate with care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
