Nurse Staff RN/LPN-90% Nights - Medical Surgical Adena Fayette
About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients’ families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role includes access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making, as well as decisions made in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. This is a full-time Medical Surgical position at Adena Fayette in Washington Court House, scheduled for three 12.5-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every third weekend is required. Hourly pay is based on years of nursing experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using nursing skills and processes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care.
- Provide direct patient care as the primary caregiver.
- Collaborate with care team members, physicians, patients, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Make decisions independently and in collaboration with others.
