About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. The nurse serves as the primary caregiver, provides direct patient care, and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The position involves access to confidential patient information and requires independent decision-making as well as collaboration with others. The role is in Medical Surgical at Adena Fayette in Washington CH and is casual, as needed. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Apply nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care.
- Provide direct patient care as the primary caregiver.
- Collaborate with care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Make decisions independently and in collaboration with others while handling confidential patient information.
