About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. The nurse provides direct patient care as the primary caregiver and collaborates with care team members, physicians, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making, as well as decision-making in collaboration with others. The position is at Adena Greenfield, in Medical Surgical nursing, with casual, as-needed scheduling. Patient ratios are 1:3–4 for PCU and 1:5–6 for Med Surg. The role works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
