About The Position

Staff Occupational Therapists provide direct patient care by evaluating and treating a variety of individuals based on the care setting. The successful candidate demonstrates strong customer service and clinical skills and supports positive patient outcomes. The role requires high moral and professional standards, commitment to ongoing professional development, effective time management, and teamwork. Occupational Therapists also supervise assistants involved in the care of their patients. This is a casual, as-needed, day-shift position at Adena Fayette Therapy in Washington CH.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification exam and obtain certification.
Possess or be eligible for an Ohio Occupational Therapist license.
Complete de-escalation training within six months.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree.
One to two years of experience providing direct patient care to individuals with a variety of deficits, including orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, or cognitive shortfalls. New graduates with strong clinical and professional skills will also be considered.
