About The Position
Adena Health is hiring a casual, as-needed Physical Therapist for its Therapy Department in Washington Court House, Ohio. The role is day shift, does not require on-call availability, and pays a casual rate of $60.00. The Physical Therapist provides evidence-based care, evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, documents care, monitors progress, and adjusts treatment to support optimal outcomes. The position also collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and support staff and supervises and contributes to the development of physical therapy assistants. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to quality patient outcomes and continuous learning.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
- 1–2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Possess or be eligible for Ohio state licensure.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, evidence-based physical therapy care to patients.
- Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient care in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff.
- Supervise and contribute to the development of physical therapy assistants involved in patient care.
- Maintain high moral and professional standards in all aspects of practice.
