About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate a patient’s plan of care. The nurse serves as the primary caregiver, provides direct patient care, and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making, as well as decision-making in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. This is a full-time Medical Surgical position at Adena Greenfield, scheduled for 90% days, with three 12-hour shifts and an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. The stated Medical Surgical patient ratio is 1:5–6.
