About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The position involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making, as well as decisions made in collaboration with others. The role is under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. This is a Medical Surgical RN position at Adena Greenfield, scheduled for full-time 3 × 12-hour shifts, with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. The role offers an hourly rate based on nursing experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using nursing skills and processes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care.
- Provide direct patient care as the primary caregiver.
- Collaborate with care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Make decisions independently and in collaboration with others while handling confidential patient information.
