About The Position

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. The nurse creates an atmosphere that supports Adena Health’s vision of becoming the region’s most trusted partner in healthcare. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making as well as decision-making in collaboration with others.

This is a full-time medical-surgical nursing position at Adena Fayette in Washington Court House, Ohio, scheduled for three 12.5-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every third weekend required. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
