About The Position

This role is for an SSPT Committee Member for the 2026-2027 academic year. The committee will meet at least once per week to conduct data collection and review, perform root cause analysis, develop intervention plans, and establish progress monitoring plans. The position is open to both certificated and classified staff. Roles will be determined based on applicants and school needs. Stipends will be split into monthly payments. For non-exempt hourly employees, compensation will be an additional per hour amount up to and equivalent to the stipend amount.

Requirements

• Arrive to meetings on time and sign in.
• Actively participate in meetings.
• Attend at least 98% of meetings.
• Active and full participation in teacher leader roles.
• Attend all specified meetings, assigned professional development sessions, and designated work sessions.
• Abide by general professional guidelines, such as attending meetings on time and completing work by required deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Use tools like the “5 Whys” or “Fishbone Diagram” if available.

Responsibilities

• Meet at least once per week.
• Conduct Data Collection & Review (Academic assessments, behavior reports, attendance, health, language proficiency, etc.).
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (Identify possible underlying causes using tools like “5 Whys” or “Fishbone Diagram”).
• Develop Intervention Plans (Set specific, measurable goals for improvement, select targeted interventions (Tier 2 or Tier 3), assign responsibilities).
• Develop Progress Monitoring Plans (Determine data collection methods and frequency, set follow-up dates).

• Stipend: Up to $2000 per semester on top of teaching salary (salary exempt employees).
