About The Position

This role is for internal applicants only, seeking SSPT Members or a SSPT Lead for the 2026-27 school year. There are 5 openings available to both certificated and classified staff. The positions will be determined based on applicants and school needs. Stipends will be paid in monthly installments over 11 months. For non-exempt hourly employees, compensation will be an additional hourly rate equivalent to the stipend. The SSPT Committee Member will meet at least once per week to conduct data collection and review (academic assessments, behavior reports, attendance, health, language proficiency, etc.), perform root cause analysis using tools like "5 Whys" or "Fishbone Diagram", develop intervention plans with specific, measurable goals and targeted interventions (Tier 2 or Tier 3), assign responsibilities, and create a progress monitoring plan. To receive the stipend, members must arrive on time, actively participate in meetings, and attend at least 98% of meetings. The SSPT Lead will serve as the Committee Head.

Responsibilities

  • Meet at least once per week

  • Develop Progress Monitoring Plan (Determine what data will be collected and how often, set a follow-up date (usually within 4–6 weeks))
  • Arrive to meetings on time and sign in
  • Actively participate in meetings
  • Attend at least 98% of meetings
  • Serve as Committee Head (for SSPT Lead)
