About The Position

Hiring for Tier I Committee Member. Teacher leaders are teachers who are teaching full-time and fulfilling roles based on school or Ingenium-wide need. Teacher leader roles are one-year stipend positions, unless otherwise noted. The following teacher leadership roles are for the 2026/27 school year. Not all roles will be guaranteed at each site. Roles will be determined based on applicants and school needs. Stipends will be split into monthly payments based on the number of months the work is performed (most likely, 11 months).

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time teacher.
  • Must be an internal applicant.
  • Must arrive to meetings on time and sign in.
  • Must actively participate in meetings.
  • Must attend at least 98% of meetings.
  • Must attend all specified meetings, assigned professional development sessions, and designated work sessions.
  • Must abide by general professional guidelines, such as attending meetings on time and completing work by required deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Meet at least once per week beginning in August for a minimum of 30 weeks throughout the year.
  • Review Tier 1 Data: Behavior data (office discipline referrals, attendance, SEL screeners), Equity data (e.g., subgroup performance, disproportionality), Early warning indicators (attendance, behavior, course performance), Walkthrough or fidelity data.
  • Identify schoolwide PD needs based on data.
  • Arrive to meetings on time and sign in.
  • Actively participate in meetings as reported back by the committee head.
  • Attend at least 98% of meetings as determined by the sign-in sheets.
  • Attend all specified meetings, assigned professional development sessions, and designated work sessions.
  • Abide by general professional guidelines, such as attending meetings on time and completing work by required deadlines.

Benefits

  • Stipend of up to $1500 per semester on top of teaching salary.
