SRAM Circuit Design Engineer

About The Position
As an SRAM Circuit Designer in Apple’s Digital Custom Group, you will design custom digital circuits for SRAM and contribute to silicon designs used across Apple products. You will collaborate with logic and architecture teams to define specifications and optimize circuit architectures for power, timing, area, and yield. The role includes schematic capture and simulation, margin verification, functional equivalency and DFT modeling, layout collaboration, extracted-GDS verification, backend verification, RTL development and validation, and support for post-silicon productization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom digital circuits for SRAM.
- Collaborate with logic and architecture teams to formulate design specifications.
- Define architectures and topologies optimized for power, timing, area, and yield.
- Perform schematic capture, simulations, analysis, and margin verification.
- Develop functional equivalency and DFT models.
- Work with the layout team to create optimal GDS.
- Verify that extracted GDS meets design specifications.
- Perform backend verification, including IR/EM.
- Write RTL, validate use cases, and verify against design schematics.
- Support post-silicon efforts to enable productization.
