About The Position

REI Co-op is seeking a Sr. Store Sales Specialist to represent the Co-op and engage with Members and Customers. The role requires broad knowledge of products, equipment, assortments, and services, as well as initiative and productivity to guide Retail Sales Specialists. The position is suited to someone passionate about the outdoors who reflects REI’s values. The specialist supports sales and service, prepares the store and handles merchandise, maintains visual presentations and inventory accuracy, and trains and mentors new staff. They partner with Department Managers to meet goals and daily expectations. Responsibilities

Engage in REI Sales and Service Training to drive sales.
Prepare the store, stock and coordinate the stocking process, and handle merchandise.
Adjust visual presentations based on inventory levels, new products, and promotions.
Monitor inventory accuracy, price accuracy, and product stock levels.
Train and mentor new staff.
Partner with Department Managers to achieve goals and daily expectations.
