Sr. Product Marketing Manager/Lead

NetApp•San Jose, CA
•$147,900 - $191,400

About The Position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will help define and bring to market a new category of enterprise data-processing technology. The role owns DataPelago’s messaging, positioning, customer narratives, and go-to-market content, working closely with the founders, product and engineering teams, DataPelago sales, and NetApp’s Product Marketing organization. This is a zero-to-one role focused on discovering and articulating the market rather than maintaining established messaging or executing a mature launch calendar. The person will identify customer problems, refine buyer and use-case priorities, test narratives, learn from early deals, and turn insights into repeatable go-to-market plays. They will help determine the initial markets and use cases with the strongest potential for repeatable growth. DataPelago is developing an accelerated data-processing platform for analytics and AI workloads, bringing high-performance compute closer to enterprise data. Following its acquisition by NetApp, DataPelago combines an early-stage company’s ownership, pace, and influence with NetApp’s global customer reach, resources, and enterprise relationships. The team will continue with a focused, startup-style model while building a scalable business and go-to-market motion. The role will help preserve DataPelago’s distinct identity and speed while establishing practices that can eventually scale across NetApp. The position is based in San Jose, California. The target salary range is $147,900–$191,400 USD; the offer may vary based on location, qualifications, experience, and education, and may fall outside that range. The posting describes a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health insurance, life insurance, retirement or pension plans, paid time off, leave options, performance-based incentives, an employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stock units. Offerings vary by region and are subject to applicable policies and laws.
