Support the Fleet Operations Manager and Fleet Supervisors in operating regional Fleet Services maintenance facilities, maximizing fleet vehicle performance, and minimizing operating costs. Work with customer organizations and affiliates to establish and meet their needs for fleet vehicles and equipment, and develop and execute strategies that help Fleet Services remain a competitive provider. The role may require extended hours during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. The position oversees fleet asset management, including vehicle assets, fuel management, governmental reporting, inventory policies and controls, vehicle licensing and registration, and vehicle repair warranty recovery. It coordinates with contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, customer organizations, and affiliates to address operational issues, vehicle and equipment repairs, and performance needs. It also supports fleet databases, reporting, audits, emergency response, special initiatives, and disaster recovery planning. The role interacts with management and executive leaders at customer organizations, operations leads, and state transportation and environmental agencies. Regulatory compliance is important because failures could result in loss of required licensing and significant fines for Exelon.
