Sr Epic Application Analyst (EPIC ASAP)
About The Position
The Sr Epic Application Analyst will be responsible for translating user and department Epic system needs into technical solutions. This role involves performing project reviews and process walkthroughs, incorporating technical, clinical, and business solutions to enhance user productivity and department service levels. The analyst will provide technical knowledge in the support of Epic and other software applications and operating systems, acting as an advocate for setting and enforcing technical development, application support, and information management standards. This position requires in-depth knowledge and techniques for supporting development projects and complex problem-solving efforts involving Epic and other applications.
Requirements
- EPIC ASAP Certification, if not Clindoc or Ambulatory certifications as a backup
- Experience working with an emergency department
- At least 4 years of experience in an Epic Application workspace
- Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Information Systems (MIS) or similar experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required
- Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate Information System
- Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required
- Experience in supporting complex problems
- Epic Certification required

- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and techniques in supporting development projects and complex problem-solving efforts involving Epic and other applications.
