About The Position

Medtronic is seeking an EP Mapping Specialist to support Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) products and procedures. This remote position requires the employee to reside within the assigned territory and travel by car to multiple accounts throughout the region, with a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance. The role provides clinical and technical support and training to physicians and hospital staff on EP mapping and navigation systems and other CAS products, while promoting their safe and effective use. The specialist works with clinicians, engineers, physicians, and regional sales and clinical teams to meet sales objectives, develop customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and conduct customer training. The role may require travel outside the assigned territory and overnight stays. Various levels are available based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma and at least 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation; or an associate degree and at least 6 years of related experience; or a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
Must reside within the assigned territory and be available there each day for unscheduled needs.
Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy; driving record will be reviewed.
Ability to drive approximately 25–50% of the time within the assigned territory and travel outside it, potentially overnight.
Ability to freely move throughout facilities and use a phone, keyboard, mouse, and personal computers.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for 8 hours a day.
For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Nice To Haves

B.A./B.S. degree in nursing, cardiovascular studies, life sciences, or a technical discipline, with at least four years of work experience in a cardiac field, hospital or clinic, or sales.
Proven track record with technical training assignments.
Experience in cardiac catheter ablation, an EP lab, a hospital or clinic, or EP medical sales providing technical or clinical support.
Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
Understand and support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
Work in partnership with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
Collaborate and strategize with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other Cardiac Ablation Solutions products.
Collaborate and communicate with regional sales and clinical teams.
Represent Medtronic CAS products, services, and support effectively to physicians and support staff.
Serve as a regional champion by sharing experience and helping others become proficient in mapping technology.
