In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, supporting financial reporting, and collaborating across departments to resolve discrepancies. Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, automated Accounts Payable environment
• Strong knowledge of a full Chart of Accounts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform ten-key by touch

Responsibilities

• Verify, classify, and process invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
• Ensure timely payment processing while maximizing available discounts
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve past due balances
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal and external partners
• Assist with monthly accruals and financial close processes
• Analyze expense data and support financial reporting for management
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoice status
• Maintain organized documentation of all payable transactions
• Provide backup support to the Accounts Payable Manager, including payment processing and employee expense reimbursement coordination
